I agree, dont like ferrari and never will.

Halcalanky 13-09-2007 10:03 PM

mclaren all the way :P British team, British driver! Once traction control is gone, Jenson Button should show his class, how about Mclaren with Hamilton and Button? Without traction control, if Hamilton adapts well, could be onto something ;)

TRF_Tastic 13-09-2007 10:18 PM

Clucking bell fellas thats a bit crap, dont think that there is anything that you can do that should carry that sort of fine......

Are we sure that the FIA panel were not on drugs!!

TRF_Tastic 13-09-2007 10:33 PM

In fact I would like a statement on where that fine is going cause if its going to the dwarf or Moselys retierment fund, then they go now where it it is going to a good cause then that is more aceptable, however a fine of that nature is wrong, wrong, wrong, punishment to fit the crime... Not punishment made up by people in the "special home for the infirm"!!!

Rant over!!!

Phil Channon 14-09-2007 07:47 AM

Do you remember when Ferrari got disqualified (by the scruntineers) from the Malaysian GP for having over-sized bargeboards (I think thats what they are called). They appealled to the FIA and got it overturned, saying it had no effect on the performance of the car. I always thought that a rule was a rule and if you broke it then you took the punishment.

Ferrari have threatened to pull out of F1 several times because they didn't like some of the news rules that were going to be introduced. The FIA buckled because they are scared that F1 would not survive without Ferrari in the championship.
Complete C**P.

zaquiz 14-09-2007 10:13 AM

Sorry to say this guys, but Lewis is not gona win the championship either... Alonso only 3 point behind now....;)

ashleyb4 14-09-2007 10:27 AM

I dont like F1 much any more I used to love it when we used to have drivers like hakanen, Eddie irvine, David Coulthard when he was in a mclarren, Damon Hill, Jonny Herbert. I dont knwo why but i dont like all these new drivers. And reciatly the sport has gone into all this buisness of polatics and crap let them race let the best man win.

zaquiz 14-09-2007 10:34 AM

U are right man. Senna & Prost.... that was a real battle!

ashleyb4 14-09-2007 10:42 AM

Just looing on you tube this is proper racing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Py0q...elated&search=

No cheating by people sitting in pits during qualifying to stop someone else getting a time.

The 'sport' is a business, it has always been political, well ever since most of the private teams became manufacturer backed/taken over.

tc2k 14-09-2007 03:57 PM

Ash, its not like it happens every week, isolated incident brought on by driver ego. The racing is damn exciting at times, the qualifying seems alot more exciting than the races nowadays

AndyM 14-09-2007 04:13 PM

the manoooover hamilton used at Monza last week was pretty awesome, very brave!!
