I,m building a new diff for a xxx cr. Do you use the internal bronze diff ring shim or leave it out. What shock oil comes with a new kit?

thanks Danny, I've used the bronze rings and used trinity diff lube on both of the rings. Do you think it will make any difference. Any things I should change when I'm building it. Or are there to many!!!!
Emily dosn't seem impressed that I've bought this to try.

haha, na, you wont need to change anything really. Unless you want to make it a CR2 of course. I'll be honest i cant even remember a starting setup with the xxxcr so afraid i wouldnt be able to help you on that font.

That grease will be fine. If it slips (the diff i rear when its fairly tight) then you can try the other kind of grease

Lots of things to change if you're intending on running it more than just for fun:P

The stock shock oil is 30. The Losi team is using the old Bellcrank, the old rear end(9800 Arms, XXX-T Alu pivot), Lengthened to B4 length by moving the hubs all back and the arms 0.060" backwards, orange and white springs with 27 1/2 og 25 oil. For astro I'd run it stiffer, but the other changes do magic for balance. Also some weight in the front really helps a lot.

i used the brass rings and ae silicone grease on them, worked a treat
Change it ino a cr2 and sell the new cr unwanted bits, you wont regret it!!
