Speedymodels

Hey all.

Is there anyone in here who has experience with this shop? Anyone who have bought something from there or live nearby?

It seems there is something that makes the clocks tick slow in there.... I is so hard to get in contact with them and when i do, it seems they are way out of control of everything.

Thx for answering. I placed my order for 17 days ago and have still not got an serious answer from them. The first sign of life I got from them when I asked for a estimated delivery time was if I ordered a super vee boat I could get an extra battery for 8£. That was 9 days after order. I wrote an mail explaining that I didnt order a boat and I pasted the original order as well. Nothing happened until after another 5 days when I got an answer that the boat was backordered and worth waiting for...... Then I wrote an little bit more angry letter questioning their ability to run this business. I have until today not heard anything more from them. But hey, this was three days ago so I think there will be two more to wait..... Is this common ?

Well, time for an update. I raised a claim at Paypal for a week ago. It seems they figured out quit quick what type of an #"+%¤"# hole this person is.
I got my money back!!!
I think personaly this kind of threads are important. Not only bad impressions, good ones are important as well.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for a refund on a paypal purchase from speedy models too due to them listing a discontinued item on their web page.

I would discourage anyone to use this company, I have spoken to them a few times and they keep promising 'they'll do it tonight' and it never happens.
