Beginner starting out looking for Tracks in Leeds Area and advice on car
 

Hey Guys,

At the young age of 29 =D I am thinking of trying out RC cars as didnt get to as a teenager and wish I had, Better late than never though right? =D

Basically thinking of getting a Electric car (HPI Sprint 2 Sport) for indoor racing. Is this a good car to start with?

I am having a lot of trouble finding somewhere to do this in my area and wonder if any veterans on here might know of somewhere in this area. Only one i have found so far is Donny Racing which seems like a friendly bunch but is a bit of a trek from where I live.

Might get a buggy later too if I can get into it?

I am sure someone with local info will post soon, before you buy I would get down to a club for a visit, see what is running and expected, you will find it easier these days, lipo batteries & brushless motors = less to maintain and faster cars. enjoy
