X - 6 Near Production
 

The very few initial molded X - 6 chassies were produced on April 28th, and lots of photos are up at www.2wdrc.com . There are several galleries of photos showing how the car was designed and the molds are being made, and now this gallery shows the chassies and shock towers being molded. If you've never seen how molded R/C cars are designed and made, this will be of interest.

So those who have pre-orders :silent: should be hearing something soon ??

The first 25 molded chassies and shock towers were produced on Friday May 5th. Paul will be home from college in a few minutes -- litrerally -- and will build one tomorrow transferring all the prototype bits from his aluminum prototype. Then, it's off to the Tuesday club race in Detroit.

Pix of the first 25 should go up early this week, with pix & story from Paul's first effort later in the week.

Still looking like mid-to-late June for shipping to customers. An E-mail went out to all Pre-Production customers Saturday.
