Perhaps you are using the wrong system, St Giles' Fair is on yesterday & today (sureal) in the town centre: easy to work out when its coming...

Since the nineteenth century, St Giles' Fair has been held on the Monday and Tuesday following the first Sunday after St Giles' Day (1 September). This means that when 1 September is a Saturday, the fair is held at the earliest possible time (3 & 4 September); but when 1 September is a Sunday, the fair is held at the latest possible time (9 & 10 September).

We just watch for the rides parking up in the "fairfield" the week before !!
:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

PS, we will do whatever winter dates we can get to, are our club sub's due? Mick & Jordan

PPS, Fun in Japan pigeboy......when u off

JCJC 04-09-2007 04:43 PM

CML is just south of Newbury, east of Reading, look on Doughty's forum here: http://www.doughtyuk.net/forum/index.php?showforum=21

Worth a trip I would think:)

Edit: beat me to it, boy are you busy on here today, is that the big dog or the small dog ?

Nick Goodall 17-09-2007 12:20 PM

Only 2 weeks until the first one, still not many booked in........

Personally i'd say this will be a good one to do as the Weather's more likely to be nice - and if Lee get's a National and it's in Summer next year you may want to improve your chances of running on a dry track.......

Just a thought of course.... but get those entries in!

Southwell 17-09-2007 12:38 PM

Whats everyone running? I might do 4wd....

Nick Goodall 17-09-2007 12:44 PM

If i could get a diff for the Cat i'd be tempted to run it for a bit of fun but probably stick to 2wd i guess.....

Waiting to see if Lee wants to do anything on Tyres but for the moment i'm guessing there will be no control tyre - will see what he says this week.

Southwell 17-09-2007 12:46 PM

Hope not for this, i got a load of tyres to use up from this year, hoping that6 grp's will be the main tyre for nats next year.

_sleigh_ 17-09-2007 12:49 PM

Probably best to opt for NO control tyre.. If Lee's thinking of applying for a National next season it will give everyone a chance to show how the any new tyres might work on the track.
