The correct way to clean a diff?

I was wondering how you guys clean your diff?

What to use/not to use etc..

Thanks!

Take it all apart, put the balls and plates (including thrust bearing) into a jar, or motorspray top, blast the lot with motorspray or break cleaner, leave to soak for a little.

Clean all the excess grease off the gear, give that a good blasting with motorspray and clean untill all the crap is out of the diff.

Ideally change the plates, or change them around.
Then rebuild with AE diff lube, and AE black grease.. perfect diff.
