HB ve8 with mamba monster max: What battery?
 

Ive been looking at the hb ve8 and decided to buy it with a MMM. Ive been thinking of using the Team Orion molecular lipo which is 139mm long. Then i became aware of the problem with the motor shaft sticking into the battery department. I was wondering if i could do any mods to make this battery fit, or if there is any other 4S lipos i could use. I do not wish to use anything less than 4S. I live in Denmark so it has to be something available in Europe and not just the US.

Using the Hot Bodies optional one piece motor mount moves the motor towards the front of the car giving a little more room around the battery area. Most VE8 owners grind away some of the motor shaft.

The UK price of the VE8 has fallen form £280 to less than £180.00, making the car very good value.
