Changing V2 springs

In a peak V2, any hints and tips on how to change the springs? Very tricky so far, wondering if there's any decent techniques out there?

yeah, thats what im trying, they just dont seem to want to go down the tube :/

they are a pain. the loop on the brush is slightly larger than the tube so that it is compressed in there and won't pop out the other end.

think i lightly pinched the big loop to feed it into the tube, once the first loop was in i then threaded the brush wire down the spring out side, and then pulled the wire from the outside to force the spring down the tube.

hope that makes sense, but hopefully one of the Peak boys will give a few hints!

a guy on another forum suggested pushing it down the tube, then with a small flat head screwdriver pushing it through so that it clicks - it did click! and they seem to be fine...

just discovered i'm out of solder tho :(

still, if the peak boys do turn up, i'd love to hear if there's a better way than the one i used!
