No more shredded rear wheels

Maybe this is old news. With the stock setup i managed to shred a couple of rear wheels due to the roll pin breaking. However this is solved by using solid pins from Hot Bodies (HBS66581) and the upgraded(?) wheel distance bushing (TDR712003) and preferable some serrated wheel nuts.

Dont TD do solid pins now anyway?:eh?:

They come with the new cars.

Well I don't know. I had a look right now and found a TD solid pin that is 1.6x14mm and one that is 1.6x9.8mm. The HB one is 1.7x11mm and fits perfect.

I'm confused.

Looks like this problem is solved on the R version and the 2010 spec, so this advice only apply for us with the "old" car. I guess the difference between the TD pin and the HB pin which is 0.1mm doesn't matter.

So long...:p
