12th maybe a stupid question

12th UK Nationals 2010/11
up to 3.7v only = 1s lipo or 3 sub C cell (1.2 x 3 = 3.6v)

Cells - it is not LiPo only. It is anything with a max nominal voltage of 3.7v e.g. you can run 3 NiMh cells if you want, or LiFe if any get approved.

Competitions & Clubs
open rules I guess unless the organisers choose to follow 12th section rules

You can run LiPo saddle packs in your T-bar car - try AMC who has stock. HTH :)

RC Dynamics VR no need for receiver battery

6.6v Li-Fe receiver pack (circa 200mAh)
7.4v Li-Poreceiver pack with regulator (circa 200mAh)

RC Dynamics booster is the puppies privates - excellent piece of kit, and I have one in each car!! Fit and forget...

(PS - no need to be embarrassed. There is no such thing as a stupid question, just the stupid person who asks the same question twice!! We are always pleased to help anyone with a 12th question any time, so ask away. HTH :) )

I have another one :D :

Yokomo R12, CRC GenXL or AE RC12R5.1 ?

Thinking of going back to 12th scale this winter since I hate racing my offroaders indoors.

You'll be lucky to get a Yokomo unless you're a 17 year old Japanese kid!

The Associated R5.1 is about the best all round car at the moment. Good team driver and spares backup, and the car on which most others are based!
