SC10 FT

Hi,does anyone know the max hight lipo that can be fitted in the FT,
thanks

Don't think there's any height restriction on the FT as it uses the carbon battery brace. This brace could be raised quite a lot if needed by undoing the thumbscrew clips or even putting a longer grub screw on them.

Im sure the SC10 uses a hinge system not thumbscrews like the b4 and t4

The standard kit yes. The Factory Team, as asked about, uses a carbon brace with thumbscrew clips.

That is the carbon strap in the FT truck, there is no hinge!

The point is you cant raise the rear of the strap because it fits under a plate at the back!!! no chance of geting a 3s in it......

You don't need to. The brace is a long piece of thin carbon and therefore flexible. You could raise the front quite alot before it wouldn't fit under the rear shock tower.
Why 3s?

did you have to do any mods because the lugs make them even thicker,i was hoping to use my LRP 4800 saddle pack,

jayst 31-07-2010 01:04 PM

yea there fine but i did drill the hinge for battery connections

I use LRP5300 too with no problem. If the FTSC10 is like the FTB4 then the end of the carbon strap can fit ontop of the lug at the back with just the thumbscrews holding it down which is enough to keep it all secure and alow the use of 3s packs.

i had an LRP 5300 in my B4,the same battery wouldnt fit in the SC10 because the battery strap is as wide as the battery, the B4 battery strap is narrow enough to miss all the lugs on the battery
