LOSI 1/24th 4WD micro cuties

Losi started the micro-car craze with their original Mini-T and have continued to provide an expanding and interesting range of cool little toys for us to enjoy. Now they've brought out a couple of tiny 4WD off roaders - just 1/24th scale!

THE WORLD’S SMALLEST 4WD SHORT COURSE TRUCK AND RALLY CAR
<o></o>
An agile 4WD drivetrain and powerful micro motor hooked up with a rugged chassis, extended suspension travel and oil filled shocks make the Micro Rally Car/SCT a blast to drive on a myriad of different surfaces. Just forget its size, indoors or out it will power its way around or over most obstacles, and getting the power down on any lose or slippery surface will test a drivers ability to control a car under the most difficult of driving conditions.
<o></o>
Ready to run straight out of the box all that‘s needed to get up and running is to charge the 220 mAh battery and the rally car can hit the dirt. That will deliver around five minutes of run time depending on how hard the car is driven and extra batteries are available in various sizes, so track time can be easily maximised. A bottom loaded battery compartment means that changing batteries is a breeze and can be completed without all the hassle of taking off the bodyshell.
<o></o><o></o>
The Micro Rally Car features a scale rally style body with a choice of four trim colours based on two basic types of livery. The traditional type of rally/SCT livery is complimented with a style more in-line with the looks of popular rally/SCT liveries seen in the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1>US</st1></st1:country-region> today. Scale wheels and tyres finish off the scale appearance.
<o></o>
The built in combined receiver and speed controller keep weigh to a minimum but still offer fully proportional control both in forward and reverse and nerf bars incorporated into the design of the chassis also allow a level of protection for the electronics as well as the suspension.

lovely little things, and its obviously where the money is over the pond, but why don't they spend some of that money on anything but 1/8th scale race cars? hey ho.

the chassis look like a nikko car .
they could better invest in 1/10 2wd en 4wd race cars then these toys.

Looks good, bit like a Mini Z but still good.

Yer under stand how you would think that, But the rtr/toy market is worth £££$$$ compaired to making and marketing commpetative rc cars...so I have heard:(I think horizon are putting all theycan into that market place, apart from the 1/8th buggy

It's cute, but they are doing a disgrace to the Losi name. Losi is supposed to be all about sticking it to Associated not making kitchen floor drifters :)

Both are based on the Mini-LST apparently. From what I've heard from someone who owned one of those, some of the biggest RC cr*p ever made.

Let's face it : Team Losi as we knew it, is completely dead.

It's a big shame as the Losi XX was my first ever serious competition buggy and I absolutely loved it.

And why do they insist on using recycled plastic stirring sticks as source for their plastic ......
