is the SX slipper a waste of space for you?

It seems my slipper is either too tight or too loose.

last night I undid it 1/4 of a turn since it wasn't slipping at all and by the end of the race the car wouldn't even move. luckily I didn't melt a spur. did it up 1/2 turn so it's now 1/4 of a turn tighter than when I started and it still slips.

I'm thinking the mod to move the spring to the spur end would be worthwhile now. Is the floating shaft causing this?

anyone else get weird results with it?

a couple of weeks ago I undid it a turn and a half and it still didn't slip at all and then the next race it was too loose. I hadn't touched it between races lol.

1/4 turn is a massive adjustment on a slipper way to much in one go

i did find on my SX, that the slipper was either off or on. I didn't make alterations as much as 1/4 of a turn in any one go, but any adjustment was negligible between off and on, I found.

on the B44 I found that was a good adjustment. must be more sensitive on the cat?
