zx-5 gear ratio
 

hi,
i just bought Mamba max pro 5700Kv Brushless system and i need help with the gearing.
the current gearing are 78T Spur and 23T Pinion gear.
this is too much high for this motor?

when i ran a 5.5 in a lazer, it was on about a 16-17 pinion. So i would drop down to something similar if i was you, a 23 is far too high
