23rd July

Andy, are you racing this Friday?

If so, do you think you could try and incorporate that "hump back bridge" thingy into your design? It was a brilliant idea :)

Or failing that, I second Axeman's request to run the same track again this week :)

Belsten 20-07-2010 11:39 AM

im planning on being there for a change this week

c0sie 20-07-2010 12:05 PM

Bring some glue and activator for me please boss :)

blue_pinky 20-07-2010 12:28 PM

I am there, and not sure wether to run the same track again or not?!?!?!

Don't want to spoil a good thing, but then it was ace!!!

Either way I can def put the rolling lumpy thing in again though...assuming I get there early enough to help build the track...not sure who's getting there first this week yet.

Dave, I'll take some activator and acetone too buddy

peetbee 20-07-2010 12:29 PM

I'll be there again, but won't be able to make it as early as I did last week :(

c0sie 20-07-2010 12:31 PM

That roller thing was such a clever idea, ive been raving to Bill about what he missed :D

Dont have to have the roller where it was, we could move it about if you want to change the track, but I found that roller such a key part of last weeks track!! Needs to be just before a corner though so people dont just laugh off it and miss the whole point of what it does :)

The jump in front of the rostrum was good too. More of a "long jump" than a "high jump".

I dont think we've ever had numerous requests to run a track the week after have we? You oughta be proud Andy!!

blue_pinky 20-07-2010 12:41 PM

Stop it, your making me blush!!!

Cheers guys :):):)

Challenge is to try and make more tracks of that quality

c0sie 20-07-2010 12:45 PM

Hey, you do realise however that now you are up there on that pedastal that if you build a crap track we will beat you with sticks?
LOL :D

blue_pinky 20-07-2010 01:04 PM

Yep...all tooo well

Your only as good as your last track!

Right...I've just decided to step aside and let someone else do it from now on!!! ;):p

c0sie 20-07-2010 01:05 PM

Why don't you have a go at designing a track this week Cris? :woot: :p

c0sie 20-07-2010 01:28 PM

I did go upto Andy last week with a track design but thankfully he went with his idea :D

I have a hospital appointment Thursday which means I have to work Friday (I normally have Friday's off) so I might not be able to make it at a track building time this week.

I helped you with your track idea afew weeks ago though Pete and that went down well :)

Matisse 20-07-2010 02:01 PM

ohh goody, i was wondering if it was on this week.
i'll be there early doors as usual,

I think what Andy's trying to say is that if it's a Friday then there will be car club!

And Cris, it wasn't a bad track was it? just not as good as last weeks!

I hope belsten doesn't drop a match at his place!!! It's been a few years since I last saw gray hill in flames!!!

peetbee 21-07-2010 08:40 AM

Our dad had a bonfire in the field up there a couple of years back and the fire brigade turned up after someone had phoned to say grayhill was on fire!
