DEX210 - Any idea on production date?

As above... seen the vid on youtoob.... will it be going into production & if so when?

Might have to wait a while for an answer to that one, sounds like it's still in the oven.....would like a lick of the bowl too !

I think they're doing some running/testing in germany this weekend. But thats all I know.

jimmy 22-07-2010 10:26 PM

Yeah I think it's still a way off - they're still working on the design and testing with Hupo. I beleive they'll have 3 cars racing at the Euros next month.

Wacker 2 23-07-2010 07:57 PM

is it going to be a rear motor 2wd that they bring out... or am I getting my wires all crossed???

Jon!

The idea is to be able to change motor position on the final car to suit driving style or track. So, both are possible from the kit I assume. I believe the current prototypes are all fixed position either mid or rear motor.

Any news? Mr Skelding? Anybody?

Am I the only one that thinks that some "business" has gone on in the background and that the new Losi IS the Durango 210?

steve73 02-12-2010 07:12 PM

I thought the same when i saw the pictures....but i still wait for DEX210 :woot:

It would explain the metric hardware and alloy chassis...

Very surprising to see Losi do that. Suppose AE got their ideas from JConcepts so Losi has to get theirs from somewhere.

any one notice the last DEX210 updates on the Durango blog was around march?
that give Losi six or so months to retool; Durango had more or less finished the rear end of the buggy, and the Losi rear end looks eerily similar to the durango proto :o

Look at the arm design, hinge pins, larger outer bearings on hub, suspension mounts, shock design, upper shock mounts, dual rear/mid platform, aluminum chassis w/ side braces, metric hardware.......! The only thing that ISN'T TD is the fact that there's no servo saver. It's a great looking car, but I want a DEX210. No need for too many spares that only fit one car, when I can have some spares that fit two cars.

buy a losi (was durango), and throw the durango (now losi) suspension parts on it . . . . . .there wont be all that many parts in common with the 4wd any way

problem solved  haha

HyperFX 03-12-2010 06:17 AM

Now you're talking! LOL! ;)

Mr. Red 03-12-2010 07:09 AM

Well, if Factory TD drivers start showing up with twentytwos soon, then you Will know for sure;). Keep an eye out on Hupo and Co.
