Team orion vortex race esc
 

bit of electric's advice please with above esc,
I have the 70a version, which has a 6800uf 16v capacitor soldered to a small pcb with some other components on it.

anybody know what this little pcb does and is it vital to the wellbeing of my esc, as space is at a premium and would like to replace cap with smaller one.
