Improved steering/handling

I would like to improve front end traction of my B-Max, any ideas? I have a 1.2 roll bar on the rear, black springs on front, orange on rear, 40wt oil in front, 30 in rear, 1mm spacer under ball joint on top of steering block.

Tom Yardy suggested to me adding 2mm under the front balsltud to make front steering a bit more aggressive. It worked great just as he explained. Try adding another 1mm spacer; you might need a longer ballstud though (I did).

Cheers!

I found the kit bmax setup to have too much steering and was looking to decrease steering.

Hi,

I am about to post a new set up sheet from a test this weekend that was on a tight grass/dust track. I then tried it on astroturf as well and the steering reaction was greatly improved, I will start a topic about it shortly... (The set up is for a FT edition BMAX)

fastinfastout: your problem is not a common one with the Bmax as many find that understeer is an issue, however if you post how you have your car set up I will try and give you some info.

I dont have the bmax anymore, but it was my initial findings on clay dirt track.

mine is completely stock setup except for ehw washers under the ballstud and would like a little more inital turn in while cornering.its like the car alomost pushes a little too much for me and would like to have more responsive steering as well.while on the straights the car is extremely sensitive if steering since i put the 2 washers under the ball stud. any advice would be greatly appreciated

thanks
