Wich 2WD to get??

Hi,

I was wondering which 2WD is the one to get now? Is the B4 still the best 2WD buggy or is it getting old????

I searched a bit and these are the 2 that I found to be interesting? Or am I missing something

Kyosho RB5
Associated B4 (Stealth version or Factory??) Wich on is best?

Thanks for the input

The B4 is still the best car in the world nothing can relaly touch it. I have ran one for the past 1 1/2 years i havent been disapointed with it once. High quality car good parts and defently fast. As for te team/ factory tea edition I recomend getting a factory team and replacing the carbon chassis with a plastic chassis. Some drivers like to run a full plastic parts car others like to run full carbin some a bit of both.

There are other cars on the market that you should consider

x6
losi xxxcr
kyosho rb5

B4 factory team any day, since i upgraded from the B4 RTR i noticed a huge difference in the carbon parts/chassis and love the responsivness now. i just put tape down the battery compartment so it wouldnt short the cells, also so the cells were still bare so i can still use an equalising tray :D

Your both wrong, sorry. ;)

B4 team with upgraded ti turnbuckles, front alloy hinge pin brace, thumb screws for cells. There is prob more but i can't think of them at the moment, thats what a lot of the top boys use though.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW !!!!! YOUR A LOSI DRIVER !!! LOL :D :D :D ;)

Work out the prices for the FT with a new chassis and team kit with the upgrades ;)
Plus extra plastic on the car makes it's easier to drive.

jimmy 09-08-2007 10:58 AM

Or, if you like a B4 - get the standard Team car with no upgrades and just race it - none of the stuff mentioned makes the car any better on the track afaik. :) Even the alloy front brace isn't so important as it once was now the plastic one is beefed up. Or am I talking bollocks.

Southwell 09-08-2007 11:00 AM

You NEED the HD servo saver spring unless you glue the saver up, i would definately get the brace too, it looks nice :) To be honist the rest is just bling bits, but the threaded shocks are useful. O and ti turnbuckles.

Thats a very expensive way of doing it!

It's much easier to just get the FT car in the first place and buy a plastic chassis if you want it to be more random  :D

But you'd still need to get the plastic arms and towers etc....

What do I know I'm a LOSI driver

delanobe 09-08-2007 11:13 AM

I already have a full bling TRF501X (I love the blue bits! )but wanted a bit info for a top 2WD because maybe I will drive both classes next year.

Thanks

Richard Lowe 09-08-2007 11:15 AM

In my experience the arms and towers dont really change the car too much, the plastic ones make the car bounce on big landings like the big double at Batley though.

The S2 will be worth a look when it's been fully developed :)

ashleyb4 09-08-2007 11:15 AM

It is a very good car but if losi are stop supporting it i want a new 4wd so the b44 is an AE so it must be ace.

A

Richard Lowe 09-08-2007 11:20 AM

Well they will give you AE stickers in the box but we know who designed it :p ;)

ashleyb4 09-08-2007 11:23 AM

Yea its a bj4 but with all the crap stuff fixed. And no bloody alloy that bends.

A

_sleigh_ 09-08-2007 11:27 AM

I don't think this is an argument you really want to get into Ash...

The BJ4 is a bloody good car and AE have just put their slant on it, to improve the profitability of the product and improve the odd few item (like the slipper)

Besides DELANOBE was asking about 2WD's and probably not interested in your opinion (or ours for that matter) on 4WD's
