Module & Receiver issues

I have an issues with my car as it seems lose signal at the far end of the hall.

I'd like to try to eliminate the cause. I have a KO Propo EX-1UR 2.4ghz transmitter fitted with a Spektrum Module and Micro Receiver.

Can anyone lend me a replacement Module/Receiver to test and elimate the problem?

Or if you have any other ideas as to what the problem may be please feel free to comment.

Thanks

Might sound obvious but have you got the silver unshielded end of the wire out in the open as i find this makes a difference. I was running mine inside the shell for a bit but then encountered some range problems with same tranny (but ko module/receiver), and this sorted it.

Hope you sort it.

I had same issue with mine and it was the reciever that had a fault, it was replaced under warranty

I think it might be the receiver. Does anyone have a spare I can test, before i buy a new one?

Thanks

Just had a thought, are your transmitter batteries well charged? We were racing at Milton Keynes yesterday and Tim was having major interference issues. And only after swapping speed controls and the receiver did we realise it might have been the batteries in his transmitter after all. It might not be this but could be worth checking just in case :)

Thanks Jonathon,

I charge my batteries each week to make sure they're ok. Plus my transmitter displays the charge, and beeps too if running low. So im pretty sure that this is not the issue although well worth the thought.

9/10 it is always something simple.
