will any 40 mhz crystals be ok to use in the gemini 2,
or will sanwa one's only work??

Stick with Sanwa. Always best to stick with the original manufacturers crystals, especially on 40MHz. Almost every time I see a car with interference problems it's because they have mix-and-match radio gear.

Everybody always recomends use Sanwa crystals, tho you can find cheaper recievers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but there is a lot of secondhand Gemini's out there and secondhand crystals.
