mi4 lp help please
 

hi am looking into parting to buy a mi4 lp pro, but i need to find out this first, what height have i got for lipo batterys, i emailed schumacher and i had a blunt reply just saying all brca lipos will fit. the brca limit in 18.5mm i beleve witch is a lot smaller than my current lipos, so it would be very helpfull is some one could messure whats the heighest lipo i could fit in the car please. thanks and hopefully someone can help me .

my trackpower lipos fit at 20mm and i know Intellect 5000mah fit and they are about 24mm.
what lipos have you got?

my current lipos are aprox 26-27mm and i know they wont fit in the xray 009 or t3, so this is why am looking at the mi4lp now, if they wont fit them looks like gonna have to change batterys also

hi mate at a squeeze i can get a 26mm flat bottom lipo.

i have just gone a messured mine again and they are a smidge over 26mm. so mine are prob about 26.5mm :-( wish i new someone local with one so i could try it for fitment.

thou do you think will still be ok if i shaved 1mm of the bulkheads it shouldnt fect the stregth or affect any flew should it? by looking at pictures i guess this is where its hitting right?

This might be a completely thick reply, but here goes. I'm pressuming that when you saw height, you mean from the top of the lipo to the bottom, and that the width and length of your lipo is touring car standard ie 6 cell.

I got my Mi4 LP last week, and you have two options for fitting the lipo. One is with the "bent" battery thingy, and the other (standard way) is to use battery tape, so I don't think you need to worry.

hi na sorry that is what i was asking, i wanted to know at height would the bettery hit the top deck or bulkheads. thanks
