Countersunk servo mount hole(s) ???

So i have an Mr-4bx ready for electronics. I've mounted my servo to the servo mounts. Ready to install on the chassis. Now i notics that the outer servo mount hole is not countersunk. What gives?

I know that it is oval to provide some adjustability of the servo for larger/smaller cases, that's fine....but shouldn't it be countersunk to accept the countersunk M3 screw that is called out in the instructions?

My Corrally RDX has a oval shaped mount hole that is countersunk....shouldnt the BX?

Don't worry, it's not a problem. The hole is the right size for the screw to fit flush and still allow adjustment. No need for countersinking.

alright. It just seems odd to me.

thanks Gaz!
