12v Rotary tool/Dremel
Can anyone recommend a 12v rotary tool/Dremel.
I have seen one on e-gay but it looks very chunky Matt |
If you can stretch to it, then i'd say the Li-ion dremel :)

I've got one of these
http://www.screwfix.com/prods/91924/...DREMEL-_-91924 I picked it up from screwfix a while ago when they had it on special offer at £60. The battery lasts for ages and it gets used a lot more than I ever thought it would. |
Whatever you buy, make sure it is a Dremel. Loads of imitations out there, and all they seem to imitate is the sound of money going out of people's wallets when they break!!
I've had two (mains) Dremels in 30 years. The first one lasted 28 of those years, and finally died when the commutator just ran out of copper! Must be all those years making slot cars - cutting brass plate and piano wire, the metal dust was profuse! My latest one gets less use, so maybe it'll outlast me!! Arguably the best tool in my shed when it comes to doing work on things in the house, and RC. HTH :) |

i'd highly recommend it got mine from the local trago mills store for £34.99 because they couldnt find the price on the computer, bargain i jumped at |
hey i got a new li-ion dremel its a god send very handy and no wires to get in the way highly recomened:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I would seriously reconmmend the Li-Ion Dremel. I have the wired Dremel and it is sooo annoying  The wires are always getting in the way and they make it hard to 'Dremel' The wireless battery one be the best as it would make it soo much easier
