Decision Time!

I'm trying to choose my next car but i'm what you would call...stuck!

I can't decide which one to get! :cry:
My choice is between the Durango DEX410R and the Schumacher CAT SX2.....
I can't make a decision based on price as they work out pretty much the same,

CAT = £319.99
DEX = £240.00 + (£80 for saddle pack lipo's)

I was just wondering, if you was spending £300 of your hard earned cash, What would you choose??
What problems do you know of, if any?
Pro's and con's of owning one car over the other?

Any info or advice would be more than appreciated :thumbsup:

Thanks
Shaun.

They are both really good cars. Both cars have had issues which have now been fixed. Also schumacher and durango have excellent customer service and excellent trackside support. You wont go far wrong with either car! If i had to choose i would go for the durango, simply because they are built like a tank!

I'd go for the Durango these really are a good car like ben said they are built like a tank plus if you do manage to break it spares are quite abit cheaper than schumacher parts. I have owed a Cat sx they are a good car but the Durango is better in my opinion

Durango all the way baby!!

Since changing to this car ive had my best results ever!! 2 national A finals so far.

The car is also built like a tank so you will hardly ever need to replace anything.

We also have a close net team who are all really helpful so if youve got any questions or want any tips the just speak to a team driver. Their customer service is excellent and the web site is always updated with set up sheets for loads of different tracks.

Not that im biased or anything :woot:

Thanks for the advice mate, I am pretty sure that i will be going with durango. The fact that only 2 people out of about 30 have said the SX2 is a little off putting lol All i need now is for Durango to release the 410R :cry:

You'd be mad to not get the Durango. Didn't Tom Cockerill, team Schumacher driver, use his Cougar in 4WD at the Invernational as his Cat was too slow??

No, I used it because I was having problems with my cat which are now sorted, and I wanted to try things with my 2wd. If the car was slow there wouldn't be 3 in the top 10 of the national series and more cats than anything else in the last 4wd A final!!

Didn't I beat every Durango in round 4 with my 2wd Cougar :woot: maybe he should get one of them instead :thumbsup:

Both cars are very good in their own right. I had a cat and it was great the only thing i would say abut the cat it was difficult for me to set it up right but that is just me. The plus side of the wrango is that the diff set-ups are done by changing oils that is it very simple. Very good customer support and very helpful drivers. At the end of the day its all about the thumbs almost every car on the market these days are so advanced there is very little between them. Its 90% driver 10% car or at least that is how i see it. As everyone else has said they are very very strong cars. Some people say that there are 2 cars to go for the TRF 511 or the DEX410 The difference is that the Tamiya is a smooth easy car to drive and the 410 is more advanced and tricky to get to grips with. OPINIONS ARE LIKE ASS HOLES EVERYONE HAS ONE.:p
