Hobbywing XERun

Has anybody used one of these with the Speed Passion software on them?

If so, did it make any difference to the performance of the ESC?

Ezrun is sensorless.
If you mean Xerun, then software released by Hobbywing is identical to what SP release (well, software as well as hardware is made by Hobbywing)

thanks for the reply - i meant XE run but my finger didn't want to press the right keys.

if the speed passion and hobbywing software is identical, why do people put speedpassion software on their hobbywings?

At some point they weren't the same (at least they weren't released at same time in same software version packages). Now with stock softwares SP and Hobbywing is releasing basically the same packages at almost the same time.
I used Hobbywing software in my SP GT2 for one race as at time there wasn't new SP software package released.

I hope I didn't confuse you much. If I did, ask :D

no, thats great thank-you.

I have both speed passion gt2.0 and the hobbywing XErun 120 speedo's, although I haven't used the xerun yet on the track.

On the bench it feels equally as punchy, but I don't know if the top end will be the same - I guess I'll find out on Sunday!

As long as you've got same software version loaded in both - they will be the same ;)
