Lee Martin wins EPR 4WD National

Lee Martin takes his third 4WD national win from three rounds of the 2010 BRCA 10th off road national series, at Eden Park Raceway. Grant Williams once again took TQ and pole on the grid for the three leg finals - but problems plagued the Schumacher driver after winning leg 1. A retirement in leg 2 was followed by a car that just wasn't quite right in leg three.
Lee Martin won, Grant Williams finished second and Tom Cockerill third.

Full report on oOple.com soon - but the report is already online and being updated. http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/2010national-edenpark/

Hi Jimmy

Sorry to be a PITA but the Robin Hood Raceway text down the left-hand side is incorrect!

And the club is located in South-East London/Kent.

Cheers fella, half asleep on the motorway and using a template I'd done for rhr - that's my excuse!

Superb weekend for Tamiya. Lee's car looked planted in the third round and was surprised he wasnt totally happy with the setup, so would like to know what oil he put in for the fourth round.

Set up remains then same, i just renewed the oils and then after leg one i/bloomfield raised the car a few mm and then for leg 3 i tightened the diffs and then she was about perfecto! ;)

Cool, how did you find them? Were you running 4 hole front and 5 hole rears?

I have them in my SV and SX, but am still learning etc.

The GHEA pistons are the NUTS, they're good enough to win the L final!

elvo 07-06-2010 05:34 PM

What a weekend! As a foreigner, the EPR national was a lot like the euros, except all the drivers are British and either a legend or a star :-)

Most memorable racing moment: TC and Grant in 4WD A3: 5 overtaking manouvres in 3 corners.
Most memorable (non-Belsten) phrase: "IN THE BUMHOLE" :D

L?

Our Shaun won the L final. :eh?:

And I know he doesn't run them. lol

I do though! and I won the K final!! lol.....just. I seem to get into a habit of slowing down too much when leading and nearly throwing the race away.
