Buggy design

Hi All,
Did this a while back while trying to figure out some cad software. I was going to make it but got an X6 conversion instead.
Its been sitting in my junk folder for ages so i thought I would dig it out and put it on show for your amusement.
Designed to use b4 front end and b4 gears (additional idler), drive shafts, shocks, arms etc. custom gear casing chassis, shell, wing, other bits. only half done really.
Basically its an X6 on a carbon plate chassis.

If I get the urge to do more stuff I think i would address the B44 balance issues. maybe some chassis plates that shift the motor toward the center of the car more.

You may want to have your motor and spur gear on the other side of the car, or else it would go backwards when you hit the throttle......

does swaping a couple of wires not work on a sensored motor?

hows that?

Spot on ;)

You can swap the wires, but you want the motors rotation to help make the car handle better and not worse....

Hey Darren, the rotor will rotate in the same direction (relative to the wheels) no matter what side its on. Has it been a long day? :)

I did say you can swap the wires also (but then the motor timing would all be wrong) hence you want the rotation to help - hence the use of 4 gears (and the motor timing to be right)............ I know what I mean LOL

Ah! sorry, thought you were just talking about handling and rotor direction!

A Tekin can solve the motor running in reverse issue though..;)
