Tamiya 3454662

Does anyone have part number 3454662 (front upper alloy bulkhead) for the TRF511?
I need to either buy one or borrow one before the EPR national next week.

Damage is even worse than I thought and I need a front carbon top deck too

I'll have a dig around, not sure what I have for those bits, did you contact Champ too, if they have them in there's time for them to arrive, just!

I was hit by another car head on :(
After taking everything apart it appears that the front alloy bulkhead and the side alloy bulkheads are all bent too:(

When you say 'another car'....was it a full size one!!
Thats some serious damage, even for a head on crash.

simoncrabb 29-05-2010 06:29 PM

Where's Pidge, can he come to the rescue?

mattybucks 29-05-2010 06:47 PM

This is one of the parts that are different from the 501.

Someone lost a shock going flat out down the straight, lost control, crossed the pipe straight into the front of his car. I was speaking the Alec this morning and apparently there's a lot of damage. His got most of the parts but is unable to find a couple of bits, which is a shame as he was going to rum the 511 at the national this weekend.

He'll be fine, i'm sure;). Good family to be in is Tamiya:thumbsup:

The only place I see them being sold is through TamiyaUSA.

They are offering free shipping on orders over $50 too.

If you desperately need one, let me know and we can work something out (have TamiyaUSA ship what you need to me and I can ship to the UK... $13.45 USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box).

Sorry to hijack thread but I am struggling to find any 511 front wishbones. I have the 501 ones as spares but prefer running the standard 511 ones.

Can anyone help...?

It was a B44 coming down the straight at full speed and I think the shock fell of or something and it caused him to jump the track and collide with me ........... amazingly I finished the lap and won

Thanks mate, that's very good of you to offer but I think i'm all sorted now, just got to drive and pick up the parts later today and i'll rebuild the car tonight.
I'll try and post some pictures of the "damage" later.
That was a very kind offer and it's most appreciated

No problem at all. I can imagine the frustration after an accident like that!
