EPR's BIG WEEKEND! 29th, 30th & 31st May 2010
 

Not unlike Radio 1's recent one but no music, just strimmers, lawn mowers, kango's and disc cutters:thumbsup:

For those of you who may not know, this weekend sees the last BIG PUSH for track preparation for the forthcoming weeknds BRCA National Round 3.

There will be a presence at the track over ALL THREE days of this Bank Holiday weekend and ALL volunteers are extremely welcome, however much time they can spare.

But please remember, this is unlike any other weekend workparty in that BRCA rules stipulate that there will be NO PRACTICE, for ANY individual, club member or not, even if they do not have an entry for the National!

Hope to see many of you trackside this weekend.

Quick update after two thirds of EPR's BIG WEEKEND!

Two good days so far despite the inclement weather on Saturday with lots of good work done by small groups of enthusiastic volunteers! The track and it's surroundings are already looking very good and close to being race ready.

Tomorrow's another BIG day it's DC's day! The painting team will be trackside from early on and any more time that club members and volunteers alike could spare, however much, would be most welcome and appreciated!

Hope to see more of you there! Don't forget though ' Track is.....CLOOOOZED!

To be fair, I think the track looks better in the flesh than DC's pic...

Thanks to few that turned up over the three days - we have made great progress on the National preparation and all is coming along nicely.

Still got lots to do though so if anyone wants to pop down and help on Thursday or Friday, please do.

Are those curbs going to stay red, or are they going to turn custard yellow like last year???

I got another 10 litres of paint donated today, so we can make the track look even better!!!:thumbsup:

if my boss would let me i would but need to do 2.5 hrs on friday :( do i need to bring any meat??????
