Matt Airbrushing
 

Ive decided to start painting RC cars again.
I used to do quite a bit a few years ago but ive only just bought some new paints and dusted off the airbrush.

I have changed over to Faskolor paints which took some getting used too but im getting some decent results out of them after a bit of practice.

Im very impressed with the quality of work the other guys in this section are producing, you have given me lots of great ideas :)

Nice one mate, will you be down on saturday? I'll bring my touring shell if you are.

Im not sure if I can make it on Saturday as im supposed to be going camping in Wales. Although if my new batteries arrive I might come racing instead.

I can pick it up from your place tonight or tomorrow and paint it at the start of next week and give it to you on Saturday.

Ive run out of things to paint now so I need something to do :)

I won this body at the Carisma cup meeting at Bedworth on Sunday so ive painted it up in Renault F1 livery.

Doing the lettering by hand was harder than I imagined.

Its a shame protoform dont supply the head or wings.

I was tempted to paint in a decapitated stump on the shoulders but I thought better of it :D

I thought they would have a head for it :thumbdown:
