Nosram Matrix Evolution 2007 - review
 

Here is a little review of the Nosram Matrix Evo 2007 brushless system.

Cool review jimmy the matrix evo is a very good brushless speedo. But may i ask how have you solderd in that motor??? Have you just soldered the wires on the end of the tab instead of in the holes.

yeah ash - soldering in the holes is hard after the first time anyway and to be honest this is easier and neater I think. :)

I have tried it with a sintered motor in there and it was even better - but only for 4wd, I think the punch would have been too crazy for 2wd

Oh!!

I find when soldering my motor in i put loads of solder on the wire then sort of make it into a cone shape push it thought the hole as much as it will go then hold the soldering iron on the end of the wire this allows it to go in all the way then just cut the end off the wire.

But yea ace review.

Great review mate. I have been using the 2007 Matrix Evo in both 4wd and 2wd with the 6.5 motor and both systems have performed flawlessly in all conditions. Initially expensive but well worth it for the reliability and 'fit and forget' convenience.
