501X One Way for 511 and 54006

I have a question: Does the TRF501X One Way fot straight into the TRF511? The Pulley included in the 501X One Way is 35t i believe but the 511 has 37t so can this be changed without problems and can still the adapter 54006 be fitted to the 37t pulley 54023?
If not do you run the one way in the 511 with 35t in the front?
Help is much appreciated :(

Hey Marco, many thanks! The 53867 is the TA05 One way Pulley BUT: it has 36t, the normal diff pulley is 37t i think. Does this affect the handling? Is there no 37t One way pulley that fits?

In general how can the can benefit in handling with a Front one way? I know when braking you only brake with the rear wheels and have sharper cornering but is it of use on loose or High grip tracks?

Just checked: would the 54023 37T Front One-Way Pulley fit to the 501X Front One way? Tamiya USA says compatible with trf501X.

Why are there 3 different kinds of One way pulleys? 35t, 36t and 37t???

From what I remember, the original TRF501X had an under-driven front driveline (35T front pulley, 36T rear pulley with 16T center pulleys). The TRF501X World Edition had matched front and rear 37T pulleys with 18T center pulleys.

So would you say it is ok to use the 36t pulley in front and the 37t in the rear? I would prefer to use 37 front and rear but donīt know if the 54023 37T Front One-Way Pulley fit to the 501X Front One way...
If anyone has tried that yet that would be of help...

Yeah the 37t works fine with it and fits, I have one, don't think I ended up using the 54006 plate though!?

Thanks Dave this helps a lot. You mean the Adapter plate is not necessary? Is it only to prevent wobble?
