Cougar body on and off tricks ?

Ill be running on bumpy clay setups and most likely have the shocks on the front side of the tower whats the trick to getting the cougars body on and off ?

Latham Snr's tip of dremelling the slot in the body behind the spur gear so it flexes on the vertical is a great tip.

And then, front on, 'snick' the body between the shock and the spur, and jiggle it on.

It's not too bad once you've done it a million times...

ok here you go
first pic is of std cougar shell and slot, second is dremmeled one, we now dremmel a little further into gear cover so it bends without cracking,
when putting shell on make sure front part is over the top of the front shock tower mounting points (the two small lugs on the top bulkhead)then bend gear/spur gear cover at 90% push down shell and let go job done,

You can see at the back of my shell I have cut further down into the vertical section so that it flex's a little easier, and by using a larger diameter sanding drum you can decrease the chance of it cracking.

As Simon said, it seems a pain at first but after a while it's really quite simple.

Cool I will look at this too.
