TRF shocks leaking..

Hello! I have the problem with my shocks, the are leaking! I usу TRF HL cylinders, low friction rod guide set (Plastic spacers), TRF blue orings, and gold shock shafts. I was build them how is described on the TRF Racing web site. What it's can be?
Thanks

It's them blue o-rings for sure... I tried them once, never again...

I cant comment on the TRF buggy shocks but i can tell you that the TRF tourer shocks are prone to leaking if you use the blue TRF seals. They do seem smoother with them fitted but they weep oil im afraid. Its a case of rebuilding them more often or sticking to the std seals !

Just beat me to it Si ;)

It's the blue orings! They are a nightmare, low friction because the diameters too big!! I still use them, with VG grease, they still leak but I can normally get through two meetings before they are too bad!

In this case BLUE IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT BETTER. I have 3 sets of TRF shocks, all with the gold shafts and HL cylinders and the first time I put the blue seals in they leaked like mental. Just use the standard seals and they won't leak and they will still feel silky smooth

Thanks!
And what spacers in the bottom part are you using? Standart or Low friction? (with standart orings).

I'm using the kit standard spacer :)

Thank you for the quick reply! :)

I use the TRF501X damper rod guide set and blue o-rings.

Just add a 0.2mm shim and they will be fine. Standard is 2x0.1, so total 0.4.
Will slighty compress the o-rings.

I did and they are now perfect. Still nice after one race. No leaking.

I think thatīs one of the benefits with the rod guide set. Easy to shim to perfection, just add shim between middle spacers.

If all that does not work, it could be something as simple as you forgot to put the o-ring on the caps of the shocks.
