Big Bore pistons/oils....tuning?

There are 5 piston options for the big bores. I have preordered and recieved a few and they all seem to have the same size holes in them. Is that correct?

I like using the same pistons in all my buggies/trucks to keep the balance consistant. I'd keep em all similar when I owned Losi -#56, AE -#2, and Kyosho -3B. Using oils to alter damping.
With soo many options I dunno where to start when I build my kit Monday. :eh?::thumbsup: I have 2,4,& 6's. With 3 & 5 rounded on backorder. I may start with 4's all around and tune from there.

What hole pistons is everybody using? I realize he kit includes 4 hole front and 6 hole rears. Such a large diff.

I have 4 and 6 from the kit and it was very good. I have 5 hole rounded on order from my LHS and I have 4 and 5 hole ghea pistons on order too.

Going to be doing a bit of testing at our track in the coming weeks. When I get my SX big bore shocks I'll test.

I'll prob build a set with 4 / 6 hole, build a set with 4 and 5 hole ghea etc. and back to back them with the SV and then tweak etc. I'll be a whole evening / morning of playing with shocks. I won't change anything else on the car or springs as it seems pretty spot on for the moment.
