Euros good luck!

All that's going to the Euros, good luck!

I'm off on my holidays tomorrow morning so most likely won't give you all a second thought! ;)

haha cheers for those kind words :D I am hopefully pitting with the mighty C final warrior 'Barnyard' so he can help me with my XXXCR - he already rang me tonight to tell me off for putting the non-dremeled chassis on.

_sleigh_ 16-07-2007 09:21 PM

Is the dremeled chassis a secret team feature??? :o

jimmy 16-07-2007 09:24 PM

I mean the battery tray business so you can move the cells forward - I've not driven a losi for 4 years or so, so it's all new to me is this moving cells about lark.

_sleigh_ 16-07-2007 09:27 PM

O I C.

Anyway... Thanks Dan, enjoy your holiday..

jimmy 16-07-2007 09:32 PM

For some reason you make me feel thick :( haha.. I have only driven a 2WD buggy once this year so it will be a good laugh at least.

bigred5765 16-07-2007 09:38 PM

no need to dremel the chassis

_sleigh_ 16-07-2007 09:39 PM

Not meant that way Jimmy... It's just not everyone runs that style of chassis now. The CR doesn't seem to need it in the same way the BK2 did.

When we get to lovely Finland, I can have a butchers at your CR and we can sort out a set-up. If all else fails we'll copy Tricky or Darren :D

barnyard 16-07-2007 09:41 PM

didn't wanna make you feel thick just said it was easier to use the modd'd chassis than have to butcher it with a dremmel half way through cos you wont be able to change once its stickered up.
Also you dont have to run with the batts forward just space back if you dont want it.

_sleigh_ 16-07-2007 09:44 PM

Thinking about it Jimmy... I know where Ian is coming from on this, but... with the jumps in the Euros track I'd probably NOT run the dremeled chassis..

The reason being if you do the cells rest against the servo and in heavy impacts it has been know to snap the servo from it's mounts.

We can work on the setup easy enough on the practice day.

jimmy 16-07-2007 09:50 PM

Cool, thanks for the advice and I will certainly need all the help I can get to get a setup for it as I've not much idea where to start / how to go with it.
