Road Legal Buggies - Any know this one?

Hi all

Looking at buying one of those bugrider PGO type buggies.

This one was road legal etc from new.

Its now had a bike engine instlled in it but the current owner hasnt changed the log book etc

So my question is to get in proper road legal will it need an SVT test (think SVT is the correct terminology - kinda test you need when you build a kit car up)

Just thought one of you lot may know before i look elswhere

If it was road legal and all he's done is change the Engine, it should still be road legal - it might just be tricky to insure if it's had a different engine installed....

Might be worth calling the DVLA and asking what they suggest but Cars often have different engines installed but are still road legal.

Awesome, those things always look like great fun - Especially when you can drive it to a dirt track and then just go for a blast before driving home again haha
