Lipo charging

Whats the low down on charging lipo packs. Im charging my 4400 30c packs at 4.4amps so what do you charge 5000 35c at? 5amps?

Yep, most packs are 1C charge rate, some of the newer ones can be charged at up to 5C (Hyperion) rates though, if you have the input and charger capable of course.

I got a charger that could output up to 20amps so as to make full use of my Hyperion packs when using my Losi 8Te with Hyperion 4S packs....to be fair I still only charge them at about 2C rating max. when racing as I seldom need them to be ready faster than this gives. I treat mine pretty gentle, LVC at 3.2v, always balance charge, etc.

you got it right, divide the capacity by 1000 and that gives you the max charging amps... you can charge them at a lower amps it will just take longer to peak.
