Looking at opening a shop
Hi all
Iam looking at opening a small shop to carry the basics between hull and york and was wondering if anyone would use it and weather its worth putting money in to stock Bf |
if you carry bits i use then i would use it

you will greatly increase you customers if you offer online shopping.
also look at what is needed in your area, common cars etc, stock parts for them and i am sure you will build your buisness faster |
Not meaning to piss on your bonfire, but York already has a trackside shop catering to 10th. Unless you mean 8th?
But then without an 8th club in York, your customer base is extremely limited. |

Yep there is Biggin RC funnily enough at Biggin!! Rob youll need to get accounts at cml, horizon and hpi just fer starters!!

to be honest buddy you need to put quite a bit of stock into your shop to get people coming into it and run an online oredering system and have a very quick turn around in sending items out as there a lot of shops that have this in place all ready and not sounding rude or putting ur flames out dont waste your time the profit margins are not good by a long shot racers think they are but tell you me there C**p

Was looking more at 8th for stocking fuel and tyres plugs fuel line and basic stuff . more just for people wanting bits fast for weekends .

Well I don't race, but I do have 100+ rcs, and live east side of York, and I order my plugs and fuel from Modelsport or collect them sometimes, so I would use you for those for sure, and no rush, I could wait to get them ordered in, just since Halfords closed nowhere I would use in York for that stuff:thumbsup:

The main thing is I end up racing to leeds or manchester just for little bits I find on a sat that I need to race sunday which costs me loads in fuel and time for daft bits . Thats why I was looking at doing it . To save other racers time and money .
