Wycombe Radio car club open day

I was wondering if any one was going to this tommorow?

http://www.wycomberacing.co.uk/

I will be there with some micro stuff :)

I would put a message on race chat but i cant even make a single post anymore!!!

Like the club, can't go, got an on-road meet to prepare for at either Mendip or Stafford. I can't post on oople either, but only in certain areas. Was thinking I might have offended someone, but if it's happening to other people too, maybe it's just a fault and Rob'll get round to fixing it when he can.

Yes, we will be there and there will be quite a few people there with micro buggies and all sorts of other cars. Doors open 11am, burger van man there with food and drinks. TONS OF TRACK TIME!

I was there last night and put down a nice layout which should be fun. A huge 20 foot double there at the moment which should be nice to start on. Will also take the jumps of periodically for the 12th scalers and then get them bac on when their batteries run out. :)

frogger 30-04-2010 09:41 PM

Excellent! I got the oval sorted so there is now a nice large flat space for the RCP track.

Make sure you guys get those little buggies warmed up for some jumpin

Neil, great to meet you and we enjoyed having you boys there. Get those donuts sorted and bring that ZX5 back for a go again next time!

Rob needs a name change to Crash Bandicoot, freakin maniac.

Overall an awesome day, had just over 70 people through the doors throughout the day. The Mini-Z's went down a treat, the buggies went very big and even the flat trackers had a blast.

Best of all was that I spoke with no less than 10 brand new faces who were all into RC at some point in their lives and they thought they'd come along and have a look at seeing what it would take to get back into RC. That's exactly what we wanted. :)

Wycombe will be doing another open day exactly like today on July 10th. Watch this space!
