Best LiPo charger out if this lot....

I'm intending to use saddle LiPo's in my new B44 and have been looking round for the best reasonably priced AC/DC charger/discharger/balancer unit. Had a good read through all the recent threads on chargers and have narrowed the search down to a few units and would appreciate some current thinking on which of this list gives you the best bang (not literally) for yah buck and which is the most accurate....
  • Core RC UAC-40 Universal Digital AC/DC £68 (current favourite)
  • GT Power A606-D £60
  • Turnigy Accucel-6 £55 (with AC adapter)
  • Orion Advantage Race Spec Charger £78
  • Hyperion EOS 0606i AD £75
  • Fusion LX60B Elysium Pro AC/DC £68
....or are there any others out there worth considering for this kind of money?

Here's a Gt Power charger that's a little cheaper.

I use the DC only Gt Power A6-10 and it seems good.

I have the Hyperion 0615i Duo and it is very accurate and is future proof as it will be able to charge higher capacity packs at 1C as and when they come out. The Hyperion is very easy to use.

Yikes, that unit isn't quite within my price range. If I'm looking at the right thing it retails at about £230. I'd want it to make me new saddle LiPo's on a daily basis for that kind of money......:D

I would take a look at the charger below, its a copy of the BC6 charger, comes with all the leads, 12v and 240v. Fantastic bit of kit.

The guys at Microtech should be able to sort you out :)

Core-RC UAC40 gets my vote, HPI Reactor 500 is the same and more expensive yes but you do get excellent after sales support with a HPI product. Definitely something to think about with electronics.

compare and contrast

Looking into the various recommendations I'd be interested to know what are the differences between the GT Dual Power D6, Core UAC 40 and HPI Reactor 500 other than the casing. The connections and specs appear to be identical yet the HPI is twice the price of the GT.......is this just a case of brand name snobbery and they're actually all technically identical and perform the same?

I've seen the Gt Power elsewhere for £60, I think Giantcod's just a very cheap webshop!

What about the IMAX B6? Cheaper then the rest, accurate with lots of functions.
