Thanks to Paul Carr and others, this may be our venue for midweek racing, any comments etc welcomed.

It doesn't really give too much of an idea on size from this pic, but the white building in the corner is 2 portacabin portable offices.

It's approx 23,000 square foot in total and would have enough scope to have a large 1/8th and 1/10th combined offroad track (suitably shortened for 1/10th) and a onroad track, aswell as pitting etc

You even have a large door at the end to fit the 100 odd trucks through to bring in the dirt

Out of interest, what sort of rental figure are they asking? PM if you prefer, who are the landlords. Thanks :)

Not sure but I can practically guarantee it won't be a dirt track, I worked it out roughly to needing over 1000 tonnes of dirt to fill the area a metre deep across it's area and then when the lease is over what do you do with all that.

So that would leave a mixed surface track, concrete, carpet, astro, anything else I can find.

Whos Paul Carr, i like him anyway!!

Things like this come along every now and then, if this place is a going to take off then i think everybody connected to Seaham/Jarrow etc should try their best to support it and help out.
I can lend a hand with anything DIY really or if i dont know i can get it sorted.
Seems really good, Washington is a pretty easy area to get access to since the A1 flies past it!

Come back Pete, all is forgiven!
