Hi.
I am looking for a good training software for AMB, For free download maybe?? |
both rcm and bbk have freeware that is great for "free practice"
we have rcm at the moment but used bbk last summer  |
http://www.bbksoftware.com/ then click on bbkrc4free
very good for a freebie full amb support you can run practice/full meetings/series,and post results to the web |

what operating system are you using?
it was written before vista/windows 7 and there seems to be a problem with windows 7 i have informed rob at bbk, probably a quick fix will get back to you |
Jepp i have windows 7...
|
There is a demo version of RC-Timing that allows 10 full race meetings to be run (either with an AMB or with manual counting). Should work with Windows 7.

Don't forget you'll need the decoder and loop to pick up the transponder.

do a search for Laps Free (although there site was down last time i tried to download an update) - it's pretty similar to RC timing in the way it works, a bit trickier to get used to but the price is right. lap's free's website is www.rctiming.com (not to be confused with www.rc-timing.com which is for RC timing, confused?, you probably will be) you could also try Alycat, i think with their "free demo" you are limited i.e. you can't run championships, you are unable to build a drivers database & you are limited to running 5 cars per race, but if that's all you need & you don't mind ammending championship tables manually in Excel, then go for it. |
