Yep, looking forward to a dry day's racing hopefully, unlike our 1st regional last year. I think the ramps have finally dried out now!

Just finished rebuilding my ZX5 - looking proper OCD now. All new gearbox internals, silky shocks, new set of tyres... Ready for some Duwonga beating!

Don't forget, we'll meet at the school on Sat at 8am to load up the trailer and transfer it all to the Rugby Club. We'll most likely be at the Rugby Club from about 9am.

On Sunday we'll be setting up from 6am (:eh?:).

Are you running it in standard form mate or have you added any hop ups .

antnee 22-04-2010 05:09 PM

Standard but with my electrics in it, I don't think there is any hopups available yet

Aran 22-04-2010 05:10 PM

might come down and check out the lrp, wanting a cheap 4WD car.

does it take sticks or saddle packs? like to only buy one type of battery :D

JonMack 22-04-2010 05:27 PM

It takes sticks, although bearing in mind the majority of cars these days take saddles, you might be better off buying them and then just running them side by side in the battery tray.

Aran 22-04-2010 05:45 PM

i know a lot of them do take saddles today, sounds like a good idea to me unless a big money pot falls on me tomorrow:D:D:D

I wouldn't say the majority! A few 4wd cars do (B44, BJ4, duwongo, bmax). All the main 2wds (b4, XXX, x6, cougar, 201x, rb5) and 4wds like the cat, zx5, etc take sticks!
