Pred 1st Run Outdoors.
 

Ran my Pred X11 at the Southport Regional.

Thought i'd post, as it was a very positive experience :)

I'd run my Yokomo BMax for rounds 1 to 3, and failed to get a good clean run, so as I wasn't going to make the A, I decided to get out the Pred for the last round. Good move. It was ace. Only problem was not enough initial turn in, (i'm now in possession of the newer orange steering arms, so they will be going on soon) Anyway, I put in my best time of the day and qualified pole in the B.

In the final, the car felt incredibly planted, much more so than the B-Max. I pulled away easily from the field and ran a faultless race, which is tricky on the bumpy Southport track. Apart from the lack of initial turn in, the car was brilliant, very direct and accurate. Shame I didn't make the A, but maybe next time. The Pred will be my 1st choice to run at the next outdoor regional.
