Thailand Buggy Party (June '07 @ RC Mania)

i live and race r/c in thailand.... i posted some pics on the photography forum and jimmy asked about racing there. in thailand they call a racing meet a "buggy party". they have them at least once a month, year 'round (there are only 2 seasons, rainy season and hot season). i recently ran my X1-CRT for the Pattaya R/C Powerboat Team and i took some pics.... here are a few, i hope u like them. there were over 300 pics so i just picked a few i thought we pretty cool and gave a good idea of the popularity of r/c in thailand... its major. :)

looks cool! well, hot actually but you get my meaning. That track doesn't look to 10th scale friendly, do you race the Jato there?

BUGGY PARTY! lol
:D

i can only race my jato when traxxas has their fun days. a thai recently opened a traxxas retail store in bangkok at seacon mall... every other month they have a "fun day" for traxxas vehicle owners so as long as i keep it close to stock, i can race it there.

no, most tracks in thailand are definitely NOT 1/10th scale friendly... my jato got some serious bumps and bruises at the PRC track but its been a great learning experience. i doubt any 1/10th track i race on now will ever phase me after practicing on a track designed for 4wd 1/8th class cars.
