Any of our X-Factory UK dealers will either have them in stock or if not be able to order one for you from us, the UK RRP is just £19.95 which is great value for moeny considering just how many nuts, bolts and washers you get in there (plus the handy parts box of course)

OK thanks. But dont tell me almost 20P is a great price. Same quantity and dimension Metrical imbus bolts nuts washers if I buy in a specialized store here, costs me max. 3 EURO!!!!!!! And the material is 10.8 grade.
Plastic box cost 1 EURO.
Maybe the X factory sticker is the rest????

Do you still think its a great price?

Sorry for the critique,

Many thanx.

A great man once said, "You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time."

The fasteners are U.S., not metric, and they fit many R/C cars where the correct fasteners are hard to come by where you live, RS.

We've got acquisition costs, packaging costs, shipping costs, etc. And you'll not find a box like this anywhere for one Euro. The box is perfect -- excellent size for your pit, a divider for every compartment, and the dividers fit the box well so the fasteners don't migrate.

Yes, the sticker is a cost also, which goes into the price.

You can spend time and money going down to the hardware store and buy 18 different sizes and types of fasteners, if they've got them, then find a box and go buy that, and perhaps duplicate the Box O' Bolts. Probably have to go to more than one place to get it all. Or, you can get a Box O' Bolts, have it all including a dialed box, and be done with it.

On the other hand, I can't figure out why someone would buy one, then want to sell it, unless he sold the only car he had that used U.S. fasteners.

OK Chazz,

I understand your arguments.

Life is beautiful...:D

Darren Boyle 05-04-2010 07:00 PM

I cannot add much more than what Chazz has said, but have to disagree with you strongly on it being expeensice - quite the opposite. Companies such AE and Losi sell their screws/fasteners for between £2.25/3.69 per pack, where as the X-Factory ones at just £1.29 are exaclty the same at almost half the price in most cases and much more than half in many more packets......

We then take the most popular sizes amd already VERY good value fasteners, put a selection of 18 of the most popular sizes (multiple packets worth of some sizes too) into the package (over £27 worth at normal "cheap" retail) plus of course the X-Factory logo parts box (UK RRP £7.99), giving over 150 pieces and it then sells for less than £20 (which is more than £15 less than buying them loose - even at our cheap everyday prices), from Losi for the same money you would get approx 90 fasteners and no box!!!

So......YES I do think it is cheap! :D

RS Concept 05-04-2010 08:56 PM

Guys,

I agree with you regarding the AE LOSI spare screws etc. prices.
Its only strange maybe ridiculous, that this commercial stuff has so high cost. So this commentary could be posted to them also....

I know what is the real cost of bolts nuts washers- only metric here in my country- in case if I buy 1000pieces from each...in case of more,,, hm even cheaper. And Im not sure that Imperial stuff will have higher cost.
Im coming from same business as you.

Im only unsatisfied with the price policy of all rc car producers in accordance with this stuff.

what to do,, shut up and swim:D

X6sq... still the best stuff:thumbsup:

WE have not had chance to upload to the DMS site yet, (They are on the XF UK site though to be seen). Reason is, we dont rush stuff on to the DMS site to give our other X-Factory dealers a chance to see stuff and get in stock first and on to their websites etc, this way we are all on a level playing field. If they do or not is up to the other shops, but we can do no more to help them out than this :eh?:

We then add all the items to the DMS site a short while after....

But as siad, they are in stock, juts call or email to order some for now
