DEX410 setup

I've got my first race in more than 2 decades next weekend and am looking at setting up the car to suit what, from memory, is my driving style. The track is a medium to long indoor carpet track that's not very technical. It has 3 medium size jumps with hard landings. I would prefer to err on the side of caution and set the car up for for the jumps/landings as to not do any damage this time out.

I'm also after a bit of understeer.

Any idea on what colour springs, shock oil, roll bars and diff oil? I know I can look at set up sheets but I can't tell from that what sort of driving style that would suit. Presumably a much better style than me :)

I would say this is a good starting point but with a front roll bar! this is what we used at west bridgford this winter which is a large carpet track with jumps!

Thanks everyone for the posts and pms about this. Some very good links there and I've got a bit of reading up to do now but it looks like gold dust. I'm probably going to run with yours Nick as that is the closest to my current set up (all except the diff oils. I'll run with the kit oil first time out and then look at 15,000 in the front and 7,000 in the rear).

What you're also saying is a roll bar up front and not in the rear. I'm guessing this would make a kind of predictable understeer?

no sorry roll bar front and rear!

Be carefull with diff oil. I use asso.

The kit one from Durango is 2000 it s about 4000 or 5000 in asso.

You ll have to buy all the grade from the same brand.

Personnaly I use 2000 rear and 5000 front on loose dirt.
